Is Copy Paste Text free, and do I need an account?
The tool is free to use and does not require registration. Request and text-size limits help keep it available.
How much text can I share?
Each paste supports up to 100 KB of UTF-8 plain text. Accented letters and emoji can use more bytes than basic Latin characters.
Can I choose my own link?
Yes. Select Custom link and enter an available name using 1–40 letters, numbers or the symbols - _ . ~. Names start and end with a letter or number and cannot contain slashes. A name becomes available again after its paste expires.
How long will my text stay available?
The default and maximum lifetime is 24 hours. Expired links stop returning text immediately; database cleanup runs periodically.
Can my text run scripts in someone's browser?
No. Pastes are rendered as escaped plain text. HTML, JavaScript and links inside your paste are not executed or made clickable.
Is this an encrypted vault?
No. Password protection controls access, but the server stores the text. Do not use this service for credentials, financial data or highly sensitive information.
